  • We primarily work with QuickBooks Online. If you're using a different platform, we can discuss the best path forward during your consultation.

  • After our free discovery call, we'll gather access to your financial accounts, review your current books, and set up a customized workflow. Most clients are fully onboarded within 1–2 weeks.

  • We work with a wide range of small businesses, from service providers and freelancers to retail shops, e-commerce stores, and startups. If you're unsure, just ask!

  • We can work with either method depending on your business needs and what your CPA recommends. We'll discuss the best fit during onboarding.

  • We use secure cloud storage and can integrate with your existing tools. You can upload receipts, invoices, and statements through a shared folder or directly through QuickBooks.


  • No. Salty Pointer Bookkeeping is not a CPA firm and does not provide tax preparation or tax advice. However, we keep your books tax-ready so your CPA can file quickly and accurately. We can recommend trustworthy CPAs to handle those services.

  • Monthly financial statements are typically delivered within 10–15 business days after the month closes, depending on how quickly we receive all necessary documents.
